Field Marshal Mūthoni wa Kīrīma is a freedom fighter, the highest-ranking and last surviving Field Marshal from the Kenya Land and Freedom Army. Field Marshal Mūthoni swore she would not cut her hair until Kenya found true freedom. In a musical inspired by her life, Wanja Wohoro, Laura Ekumbo, Aleya Kassam & Anne Moraa wonder how do you tell a story of freedom. Currently, in development with the Nairobi Musical Theatre Initiative.
